Procom Devastation

Procom had been a decent experience. Firstly, I learned that my Counter Strike skills still need a lot of sharpening before I plunge myself into such electrifying competitions.

Secondly, don't think your team will always be with you. With the passage of time, people realize that they have different priorities and thus will leave you when the time will come.

In Procom, we were in group A with two other teams that were "Sir Syed" team C and "PAF Kiet" team A. We beat them from a respectable margin. Although our team looked a bit shabby at calling and coordination, we still managed to play decently.

Our second match ended by 12:30 and we had to wait for a very long time for our next match, that came after 8 PM in the night. FAST is located very far away and our van had already left with students that came to participate in Software and Hardware competitions. We were suppose to go back on public transport which isn't an easy task. We were tired as well and that resulted in serious lack of coordination among us.

The next stage was Quarter-Finals where we faced the defending champions, "PAF Kiet" team B and practically flattened us. The match was held on map "De_Nuke" which our team hadn't practiced on.

It was a shameful defeat and I really felt bad since my performance was abysmal.

If that wasn't all, two of our players, Nauman and Harris, decided to leave the team and form their own by including Alumini in their new clan. They will be participating in the Counter Strike tournament which will be held in Bahria and which I am going to organize. Let's see how it turns out.
